The Lie that is Eugene

I talked to Bug last night and apparently, things are not going well in the Emerald Valley. It has been in the 90s and sunny the entire time she has been in Eugene. Great, you say? Not for the girl who forgot to pack her sunscreen. Now, she has a raging sunburn and still has to ride her bike all over town in search of an apartment. Not fun.

Everything she has found has either been too expensive, in poor condition, in a bad neighborhood, or any combination of the above. It's crazy, but I understand. It took us two weeks to find the place we live in now, and that's in the city we have lived in for years.

Arrgh! I'm just getting so frustrated that I cannot help her because I'm so far away, and she's frustrated and misses me. You live and you learn, I guess.

Anyway, please send out good thoughts and visualize us landing a swank artist's pad and being happy in our new home. We need all the good mojo we can get!
