Gray Wednesday
Melissa went in to work this morning, but they didn't have any real work for her to do, so she was sent home for the day and paid for 4 hours even though she was there for less than 2.With nothing planned for the rest of the day, we went to the Tates Creek branch of the Lexington library to see if she could find the last episodes of Six Feet Under. We found the episodes that she was looking for and we also picked up The Wild. I picked up way too many craft books, but I need some new stuff to look at right now, and I love browsing through some of the crazy stuff you can find at the library.
We came home after picking up burritos from Chipotle, and watched The Wild. It was a cute movie, but I would not recommend it for anyone with young kids. There were just too many parts with lowbrow humor that was meant specifically for the adults in the crowd. All in all, it was a pretty good story.
Tonight seems to be panning out as watching TV, reading and maybe squeezing in some knitting time before bed. I am almost finished with Melissa's fingerless glove that I started while Mom and dad were here. Hopefully, I can finish it tonight and get cast on for the second glove so she won't be walking around in the cold with only one hand covered.
I wonder if Samantha still knits? I would really like to see some of the things she has made. I will post a picture of my gloves soon, so everyone can see them.
